Job details:

- Full-time (38 hours Per week)
- Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum plus Superannuation

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including engines, transmissions, steering, and braking systems.
- Dismantle and inspect engine assemblies, transmissions, and other components for wear or damage.
- Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electronic faults efficiently.
- Replace or repair worn-out parts and reassemble components accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and inspections.
- Perform quality checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Advise customers on required repairs, maintenance needs, and vehicle condition.
- Keep up to date with advancements in automotive repair technology and apply best practices.
- Follow all workplace health and safety standards.

Requirements:

- Certificate IV in Automotive (Mechanical) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in the automotive repair industry.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
