Overview

Field Service Technician – Laser Cutting & Industrial Machinery

Location: Sydney, NSW

Included: Company Car + Phone Provided

Full-Time | Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

- Install and service fiber laser cutters, press brakes, and other industrial machinery

- Train customers on machine operation and associated software

- Troubleshoot machine and software issues during and post-installation

- Assist with test pieces, settings adjustment, and customer support

- Provide phone/email tech support and manage service bookings

- Demonstrate machinery to prospective clients in our showroom

- Write user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and support documentation

- Travel Australia-wide with regular trips (expenses covered)

What You’ll Need

- 2+ years’ experience in a service, mechanical, or technical machinery role

- Physically able for hands-on installations

- Basic electrical knowledge

- Some experience with CAD software or graphic design tools (preferred)

- Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Email)

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

- A positive, motivated attitude and a willingness to learn

- Current driver’s licence (company car provided)
