The Opportunity
Lindfield Gardens Retirement Living is nestled amongst serene bushland in East Lindfield, overlooking the sparkling upper reaches of Middle Harbour. Joining our hospitality team as a highly motivatedCook/Kitchenhand, you will enjoy working in a small yet fast-paced environment to prepare pre-planned daily meal services for our residents. If you have experience as a Cook, Chef, Kitchenhand or enjoy spending time in a kitchen, come and join us

This is a permanent part-time position working: Saturday & Sunday 9.30-6pm.Enjoy 1.5x penalty rates on a Saturday and 1.75x penalty rates on a Sunday.

- $29.92/hr + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuation (Earn up to $44.88/hr on a Saturday and $52.36/hr on a Sunday).

You will

- Prepare and cook daily meal services (e.g chopping vegetables, preparing salads, cooking ingredients etc.)
- Monitor food safety plans and ensure the kitchen is adhering to all OH&S standards
- Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- Work with fellow Food & Beverage staff to ensure smooth lunch and dinner service
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure food supplies are well-stocked, and rotated properly.

What you'll bring

- Experience in Cook, Chef, Kitchen Hand or restaurant settings
- A friendly and warm persona with a passion forfood and chatting with residents
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
