Senior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer
Career-making role for a Corporate/Commercial Lawyer with 4–6+ PAE in Brisbane.

With a collaborative culture, award-winning leadership, and a focus on development, this firm is the professional home of high-calibre lawyers who want to do challenging work in a people-first environment.
Their Brisbane office is part of a firmwide culture that prioritises innovation, knowledge sharing, and lawyer development. This is a team where you’ll be trusted with responsibility, supported with training, and encouraged to pursue leadership opportunities in line with your long-term goals.
About the position
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Corporate/Commercial Lawyer (4–6+ years PAE) to join their respected Brisbane practice.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to a dynamic client base spanning emerging enterprises, ASX-listed companies, and major private groups across a range of industries.
You’ll play a key role in not just delivering legal outcomes, but in shaping client strategy and mentoring junior lawyers within the team. This is the perfect role for a lawyer ready to take the next step in ownership, leadership, and professional advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex corporate transactions and commercial matters
- Provide commercially attuned legal advice across a broad client portfolio
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-value agreements and documentation
- Develop long-term client relationships through trusted guidance and insight
- Support and mentor junior colleagues as they grow under your leadership
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic growth in Brisbane and beyond
About You
- 4–6+ years post-admission experience in corporate and/or commercial law
- Strong experience across M&A, restructures, commercial contracts, and advisory
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing files autonomously while collaborating within a team
- Committed to mentoring, learning, and contributing to firm culture
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to drive client outcomes

- Career Progression – Transparent path to leadership and potential partnership
- Challenging Work – Multi-industry matters with national commercial scope
- People-Focused Culture – Join a team where collaboration comes first
- Tailored Flexibility – Working arrangements that fit your lifestyle
- Learning & Development – Regular CPD, mentoring, and leadership coaching
