Our State Government client is seeking a customer‑focused team member to join their busy contact centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly and professionally, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to customers and stakeholders.
The Role
You'll build strong relationships, keep things running smoothly, and make sure every interaction is handled with care and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
- Handle inbound and outbound calls
- Confirm and clarify details with callers, using strong interpersonal skills to calm upset customers, resolve disputes, and negotiate positive outcomes
- Data entry into internal systems
- Detailed note taking
- Provide general administrative support to support daily operations
About You
We're looking for someone who's confident juggling a busy workload and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Ideally, you'll bring experience from a call centre or high‑volume customer service environment.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a call centre environment (highly desirable)
- Exceptional customer service, active listening and verbal and written communication skills
- Problem‑solving and de‑escalation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Must hold a clean driver's licence
