Finance Manager – Be Part of a Fast-Growing Australian Success Story

Do you want your finance career to grow alongside one of Australia’s most exciting FMCG groups? This is your chance to step into a role where your financial expertise will help shape the future of a company that’s expanding rapidly and making a real mark on the industry.

About the Company

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced business that has all the energy of a start-up and the backing of a successful brand in a really cool space. Known for innovation, quality, and community, they’ve achieved national recognition and continue to experience strong growth. To support this momentum, they are seeking a Finance Manager who can combine technical know-how with a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset and business partnering approach.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding position where you’ll take ownership of key financial processes while contributing to improvements that strengthen business operations. You’ll work closely with both the finance and production teams, providing accurate reporting and insights that support smart decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing month-end and year-end financial reports, reconciliations, and journals

- Ensuring compliance through timely BAS/IAS reporting and payroll support

- Monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow with accurate weekly reporting

- Partnering with production leaders to maintain accurate costing and variance reporting across manufacturing operations

- Leading and mentoring a Bookkeeper, ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting processes

- Identifying opportunities to improve systems and streamline financial workflows

- Finance support to acquisitions and growth projects

About You

This role will suit someone who enjoys combining detail-oriented accounting work with a big-picture view of how finance supports business growth. You’ll be confident in your technical skills, but also motivated to contribute ideas, build strong working relationships, and have an entrepreneurial flair.

We’re looking for candidates with:

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a commercial accounting role within Australia

- Strong skills with accounting systems (Netsuite experience highly regarded) and advanced Excel knowledge

- CPA or CA qualification, or a commitment to achieving one

- Background in manufacturing, production, or cost accounting is desirable but not essential

- A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Why This Role?

This is more than just another accounting position – it’s an opportunity to bring your skills to a dynamic, people-focused organisation where your work will be visible and valued. You’ll be part of a finance function that’s integral to scaling up a business that has already made waves in the industry, and you’ll grow alongside it.
