About Office of Director General

The Office provides strategic portfolio coordination and communication across the Department and Ministers’ offices, supporting the Director General with confidential and efficient executive support.

About the role

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for integrity, ethical governance and public sector accountability? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Integrity function and drive a culture of transparency, trust and ethical conduct across the organisation.

As Director Integrity, you will lead key integrity functions including misconduct assessments, conflict of interest management, reportable conduct, secondary employment, and corruption prevention. You will develop strategic policies, frameworks and education initiatives to promote ethical behaviour and ensure compliance with legislation and public sector standards. This senior role requires sound judgement, stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of integrity principles within the public sector.

We are looking for

- Extensive experience in integrity, governance or misconduct assessment roles.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including public sector misconduct and corruption frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex integrity functions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.

Position details: One permanent, full-time position available (75 hours per fortnight).
