About Greenway Views
LDK Seniors’ Living’s flagship village, Greenway Views, is in Greenway, Tuggeranong in Canberra, opposite the South Point shopping centre and walking distance to the Tuggeranong town centre. The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end. Greenway Views is home to nearly 400 residents over the age of 65. The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal space facilitating social connectedness and a vibrant village community. LDK delivers lifestyle-for-life through a variety of age-friendly facilities, amenities and activities for both independent and non-independent residents. On-site facilities include a gym, art centre, chapel, dance room, theatre, library, several hospitality outlets, village shed, barber shop, hairdresser, medical consultation room, grocer, purpose designed meeting spaces and a dog park.
About the Role
Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, the Supported Lifestyle Lead is responsible for the oversight and delivery of our Supported Lifestyle Program. This engaging lifestyle program caters to the diverse needs of our residents including those living with dementia. Through this program, the supported lifestyle lead prioritises resident preferences, enables individuals to maximise their abilities, and fosters a sense of belonging and wellbeing within the community.
The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday 0900am - 1700pm.
Role Responsibilities
- Foster constructive and supportive communication with each resident in the program and their family members, creating a Lifestyle Assessment Plan reflecting the resident’s interests and capabilities.
- Support the Resident Services Manager to plan group activities, improve program attendance, and identify residents to be integrated into the Supported Lifestyle Program to expand its footprint within the village.
- Create, deliver, and assess individual Lifestyle Care plans, initially and ongoing, and guide the team on Montessori methods for implementing these plans.
- Identify a range of activity options (internally and externally, including bus outings) within budget and integrate them into a monthly site program. Promote the Lifestyle program to staff and external stakeholders.
- Build positive relationships with the Care team and use village platforms to record resident progress and engagement; work with the village operations team to address social, emotional, and cultural well-being of each resident.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Certificate IV in Aging Support (Mandatory)
- First Aid certificate (Mandatory)
- Full Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
- Montessori knowledge applied to aged care (Desirable)
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (Desirable)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Aged Care sector & supporting residents with dementia
- Experience leading teams and developing activities within the aged care sector
- Genuine interest in supporting residents with cognitive impairment and alignment with LDK values
