We are proud to be named Australian Financial Review BOSS Best Place to Work - Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services & in 2025 About the role LMG is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for a six-month secondment as a Broker Compliance Consultant. In this role, you will be working to "keep our Brokers safe" by providing compliance support to a portfolio of LMG Mortgage brokers in South Australia. This is a 6 month secondment role. Key Responsibilities As a broker-facing consultant, you will be a key part of the team, working to solve real-world problems and coach brokers on their core obligations, with a strong focus on Best Interest Duty. Your duties will include: - Training & Education: Deliver induction and compliance training and facilitate group sessions. You will also provide coaching and education to credit representatives, focusing on correcting actions where standards are not met. You will also be responsible for ensuring brokers in your portfolio are trained on My CRM and its associated compliance tools. - Compliance Oversight: Manage your own portfolio of mortgage brokers, using analytics to conduct targeted file reviews and identify key focus areas. You will also perform targeted coaching on qualitative aspects of a file review, such as note-taking. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and actively participate in team meetings and state check-ins with the sales and distribution team. - Customer Experience: Actively promote the completion of customer surveys after reviews or training and use broker feedback to improve the overall experience. You will also represent the education and compliance teams at various events, such as PD/BD Days and other state-based meetings. - Productivity: Help drive improvements in Business Excellence for LMG by identifying opportunities to save time for brokers while keeping them compliant.
