Job Description

About the Role

We’re looking for multiple Foster Care Case Workers to join our Specialistteam base at Oaklands Park.

We’re growing our services and looking for dynamic, values-driven individuals to contribute to our innovation and expansion. This role is an opportunity to make a tangible difference, shaping the future of services that empower clients to live their best lives. Your Key Responsibilities:

- Provision of providing quality carers supports and advocacy to support and equip foster families to enable children and young people to thrive
- Provide case workthrough assessment, training, support, placement and advocacy
- Assist the placement co-ordinators with the process of matching and placement of children with approved foster carers as required

What You’ll Need to Succeed

- A degree level of qualification in Social Work and eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- A sound knowledge of the effects of trauma and abuse, attachment issues and behaviour management in relation to children in care
- Demonstrated experience working within out of home and/or family-based care, including the impact of past government policies on First Nations people.
