About the Role
As a Manufacturing Manager, you’ll oversee the entire operation of a Krispy Kreme manufacturing site. You’ll ensure production schedules are met, food safety and quality standards are upheld, and your team is engaged, safe, and motivated. This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires balancing operational excellence, people leadership, and business performance to deliver the best doughnuts in the world, every time.
What are you responsible for?
- Overseeing end‑to‑end manufacturing operations to deliver all products on time, in full, and to Krispy Kreme’s quality standards
- Managing production schedules, labour budgets, and inventory to meet business and customer needs
- Leading and developing Assistant Manufacturing Managers, Team Leaders, and Team Members through coaching, feedback, and training
- Ensuring compliance with Krispy Kreme standards, WHS (Workers Health and Safety), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and food safety requirements
- Monitoring performance metrics and implementing initiatives to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality
- Driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, equipment use, and workforce capability
- Responsible for the execution of administrative duties related to order fulfilment (EBS)
- Building strong communication across teams, including support office, suppliers, and customers
- Managing staffing levels, rostering, and timekeeping to optimise labour use and maintain compliance
- Representing Krispy Kreme as a site leader, championing culture, safety, and operational excellence

- Strong leadership experience in food manufacturing or a related industry
- Proven ability to manage people, production schedules, and operational budgets
- Confidence, passion, and enthusiasm for leading people and achieving results
- A deep understanding of food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and WHS (Workers Health and Safety) practices
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate a diverse workforce
- A strong desire to help yourself and others grow and develop
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally diverse workplace
- High level of integrity and dedication to ethical business practices
- Confidence, passion and enthusiasm about the customer experience and the Krispy Kreme Brand.
Qualifications & Education
- Food Safety Certificate or appropriate industry/professional experience
- Minimum 3 years in Food Handling and/or Manufacturing Industry
- Minimum 1 year in a managerial position in relevant industry
- Experience working with Good Manufacturing Practices and procedures
- Experience using EBS is desired
