Capricorn Group is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support our Corporate Finance Manager and broader finance team. This is a pivotal role responsible for maintaining the integrity of our general ledger across all entities, assisting with statutory reporting, and driving financial compliance and process improvement.

If you're a qualified CA or CPA with a background in Big 4 and a passion for hands-on financial management, this could be your next big move.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing consolidated and standalone financial statements and note disclosures for year-end and half-year reporting.
- Ensure general ledger integrity, reconciling balance sheets and sub-ledgers within agreed timeframes.
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts that reflect business conditions and support decision-making.
- Prepare technical accounting position papers aligned with the Group’s financial reporting standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver outcomes aligned with financial objectives.

What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years of experience, ideally from a Big 4 background.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach with the ability to engage directly with cost centre owners and stakeholders.
