Urgent Search: Warehouse Supervisor

AIRWAY is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Brisbane Airport warehouse facility.
This is a rare opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in warehousing and take on a leadership role.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience working with perishable cargo and a thorough understanding of airfreight operations. We seek a hands-on individual who can lead by example and ensure staff are trained and supported to perform their roles effectively.

The Role
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Be the main contact for customer and supplier queries
- Plan and complete lodgements on time, meeting airline cut-offs
- Unload, load, unpack, and pack cargo as required
- Ensure all cargo is customs and quarantine cleared before dispatch
- Follow safety rules and report issues
- Manage daily tasks for Freight Coordinators
- Support and guide the team to meet standards
- Collaborate with other supervisors, staff, and managers to improve efficiency
About You
Required Skills & Experience:
- At least 2-3 years in a similar role
- Current ASIC Card (or willingness to apply)
- Forklift license and experience
- Physically fit for manual lifting
- Proven leadership skills
- Reliable and flexible
- Ability to work independently
- Approachable and safety-conscious
Desired:
- Fumigation License
- Authority to drive Airside (ADA)
- Experience with Dangerous Goods or industry accreditation
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations
