About the role

Located in Mulgrave, NSW (near Windsor) the position of Hatchery Assistant plays a pivotal role within our breeding program. Hours are as per a weekly rostering system including weekends. The workday usually starts 4.45am, with flexible finish times (generally between 10am to 12pm).

You must be physically fit and able to lift, push and pull trays up to 10kgs repeatedly.

Must be able to work weekends.

Must be comfortable working with live poultry.

The Hatchery Assistants role

- Loading and packing eggs and ducklings for local transport
- The handling and grading of fertile duck eggs for hatching
- Sort and grade eggs and day-old poultry
- Use of modern automated equipment
- Clean and sanitise incubators, hatchers and equipment

We provide uniforms and on the job training. Applicants with previous experience in the Poultry Processing industry and Food Manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
