About This Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide a warm and responsive first point of contact for participants addressing urgent needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide case management support to individuals facing complex or disadvantaged circumstances.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to take preventative measures in high-risk situations.
  • Facilitate daily programs and activities, including social events, morning meetings, and information groups.
  • Assist Participants with medications and driving to appointments.
  • Assist with the cleaning and turnaround of Participant residential accommodation.
  • Build effective relationships promoting participant engagement, self-determination, and personal development.

Key Requirements

  • A degree in Social Work, Youth Work, or a related field, or a minimum Diploma-level qualification in Community or Youth Services.
  • Relevant sector experience and a strong understanding of trauma, mental health, and the emotional development of young people.
  • A current Driver's Licence and a valid Working with Children Check.
