Overview
Corporate Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of a leading financial services organisation. You'll work closely with executives and senior leaders to identify strategic opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive key initiatives. This role is vital in helping the company fulfill its purpose of supporting Australians in their time of need.
Responsibilities
- Corporate Strategy: Co-develop and refine the corporate strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's long-term goals and market dynamics.
- Strategic Planning: Play a key role in the annual strategic planning process, including organizing and driving strategy off-sites for the executive team and the board.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend assessments to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Strategic Analysis and Insights: Build and manage complex models to support strategic projects and extract insights from large data sets.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, senior leaders, business managers, and external partners.
Key Requirements
This role is well-suited for candidates with a strong background in strategy consulting or corporate strategy within the financial services sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher in business, commerce, engineering, or a related field, with an MBA being highly regarded.
- At least three years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy roles within the financial services industry.
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for senior audiences, including boards.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- A passion for problem-solving and a drive to achieve results.
