About the Team
You will join a tight‑knit and friendly IT team, comprising of 9 people nationally who have an excellent reputation for providing timely and high‑quality IT support across the firm.
About the Role
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Support Officer to join our IT department, working from our Perth office. This role will involve providing up to second‑level IT support to all staff nationally, but particularly our Perth office, both in person and over the phone.
Duties will include:
- Helpdesk support;
- On‑boarding new users and maintaining user accounts across all systems;
- Assisting in the maintenance of the firm’s intranet;
- Deploying, maintaining and supporting desktop/laptop and tablet hardware, printers and mobile devices;
- Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to dictation and audio transcription;
- Managing, maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to the firm’s document management system, iManage;
- Assisting with the setup of interstate video conferences;
- Assisting with the maintenance and deployment of the firm’s Standard Operating Environment; and
- Escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
About you
We’re seeking someone with:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT support/Helpdesk role in a professional services industry;
- Relevant industry certifications;
- Experience with client PC connectivity – patching, Ethernet, TCP/IP and VPN;
- Experience managing, maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to the document management system, iManage or equivalent software;
- Experience setting up and maintaining desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, computer peripherals and mobile devices;
- Experience managing, maintaining and troubleshooting issues related to the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent software;
- A strong service mentality and the ability to communicate effectively;
- Experience working with Mitel IP telephony phone system (desirable, but not essential); and
- Experience working in a Windows desktop and server manager environment.
