With existing clients already established in the region, we are looking to expand our presence, and this role will be instrumental in driving that growth. The successful candidate will nurture long-standing client relationships while predominantly focusing on generating new business opportunities in the Melbourne market.

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Recruitment Consultant with demonstrated experience in Accounting & Finance. In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining relationships with senior decision-makers, pitching for opportunities, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process for executive, senior management, and associate-level positions in Melbourne.

You will be supported with administrative assistance and access to a marketing consultant to enhance your personal brand and identify key networking events or conferences.

Key Responsibilities

- Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing clients in Melbourne

- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities to grow our Melbourne presence

- Attend industry events to build visibility and knowledge of the sector

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from search to placement

- Provide advisory support to clients and candidates on salary trends, market insights, and hiring strategies

Skills & Experience

- Proven expertise in recruiting Accounting & Finance talent across Financial Services, Corporate Services, and Tech / Transformation

- Strong understanding of industry trends, roles, and candidate qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to drive new business growth in a competitive market

- Exceptional sales and communication skills

- Ability to provide ethical, high-quality service that ensures client and candidate satisfaction

- Knowledge of marketing principles and business development strategies

- Strong client relationship management skills
