Are you an experienced transport professional with a passion for efficiency and a strong focus on customer satisfaction? We are seeking a highly motivated Dispatch Manager to lead our transport operations across South Australia. In this fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring DIFOT for all inbound and outbound goods, ensuring Stratco meets customer expectations and maintains operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Manage Dispatch & Transport Operations: Oversee the scheduling, routing, and dispatching of goods across South Australia. You will ensure that deliveries and collections are executed as per planned schedules, maximising on-time performance and minimising delays.

- DIFOT Reporting & Analysis: Regularly track and report on DIFOT performance, identifying root causes of any delivery issues. Work with the team to implement corrective actions and continuously improve delivery performance.

- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to ensure availability and readiness of products for dispatch.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify potential bottlenecks in transport and dispatch processes and implement improvements to reduce delivery times, lower costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency

- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all transport operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members and contractors.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of dispatch staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance. Ensure that the team understands the importance of DIFOT and drives continuous improvement.

Accordingly, we are looking for a passionate despatch professional, with proven experience in managing state transport operations. Your hands on leadership approach will compliment exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Your ability to foster outstanding relationships with both internal teams and external parties will set you apart.
