About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Warehouse Operations) to support a world class airborne surveillance, communications and battle management system, the E-7A Wedgetail. It is a bespoke retail warehouse with a team of six staff which support aircraft cycling through Deeper Maintenance at RAAF Base Amberley.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct warehouse operations including timely manner as a team.
- Conduct transactions in warehouse inventory and accounts including Serviceable, Repairable, Quarantine and Disposal Accounts in accordance with Commonwealth and Boeing policy and procedures.
- Support distribution of inventory to meet all internal and external customers' requirements which includes repairable items in order to meet the operational schedules.
- While working alongside the customer you also provide direct support to all internal and external customers.
- Processing (Inventory Management System) transactions to support project activities as required.
- Continue to drive and support a strong safety culture that aligns with Boeing policy
- Apply lean and continuous improvement ideas as a team member.
Experience/Qualifications
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Desirable School leaver with passes in basic Math's and English
- Provisional or full car Licence
- Ability to obtain and hold a Secret security clearance.(NV1)
