Your Role

We’re looking for a Medical Device Engineer to join our small, fast-moving team. You’ll contribute to the research and development of our proprietary electrode systems and play a hands-on role in advancing our product from prototype to manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of biomedical engineering, product design, and neuroscience.

Responsibilities

- Conduct R&D activities related to biomedical device components, including design, fabrication, and testing.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and records in line with University of Sydney requirements.
- Support product development, including design reviews, manufacturing preparation, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to regulatory and certification activities for medical and consumer devices.
- Provide project management support , tracking progress, documenting outcomes, and coordinating with stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Requirement Qualifications

- Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in device R&D, prototyping, or testing.
- Familiarity with medical device standards, manufacturing processes, or certification pathways.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.

Desired Experience

- Experience with silicone, polymers, or wearable sensor development.
- Prior exposure to ISO 13485, IEC 60601, or similar regulatory frameworks.
- Background in neuroscience or sleep technology.
