About the role

The Crew Leader Aquatic Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of pools and leisure facilities. This role involves leading a team of lifeguards and cleaners to ensure the highest standards of safety and customer service are upheld. You will collaborate closely with the Team Leader to manage staff performance, maintain facility standards, and enhance service delivery, while contributing positively to the community.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Certificate IV Community Recreation (Pool Operations Certificate) or relevant experience.

- Current Pool Lifeguard Licence and Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).

- Current Working with Children Check.

- Current Driver’s Licence.

- Demonstrated experience in pool maintenance and lifeguarding.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

What we’re looking for

Successful candidates will be committed to safety, quality service, and continuous improvement, with excellent communication skills to foster relationships with stakeholders and the community.

Salary, Hours and Working Arrangements

- Commencing salary of up to $76.9k per annum, with progression potential to $89.1k per annum and 12% superannuation on assessment of skills and performance.

- Permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, Monday – Sunday.

- Option to work a 9‑day fortnight.

- Primary location: Gosford Olympic Pool; may work at the Peninsula Leisure Centre.
