HC Driver / Bobcat Operator | Civil Construction | Asphalt | Permanent Position | Immediate Start

**Your New Company**:
Our client is a Road Construction Contractor, focused on the provision of a diverse range of road construction and maintenance services. Also specialising in all asphalt processes.

Based in Newcastle, providing their services to clients in the Newcastle region, mid-coast, and port Stephens.

**HC truck driving and Bobcat operation**. Also being well adept with
**Asphalt processes** and ability to operate relevant trucks/vehicles, and machinery.

**Your New Role**:
A hands-on role, where you will report to the Works Supervisor, and be responsible for driving heavy vehicles to and from site, as well as operation of heavy plant to support the Construction/Operations Crew where needed.

Specific duties will include (but will not be limited to):

- Truck Driving
- Support Construction Crew on-site as required with a range of tasks including mobile plant operation
- Manual labour

**What You'll Need to Succeed**:

- Availability to work overtime - the occasional weekend, nights, and short trips away from home (completely funded by the company)
- Construction induction card **or** willing to obtain
- HC licence (HR Minimum)
- Competency with bobcat operation
- Experience operating heavy plant (Excavator, roller etc)
- Experience with In-Situ Stabilisation and Asphalt Paving.
- Experience in the civil construction industry
- Be physically fit and capable, to lift 20kgs repetitively
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Be a Hard-working and Focused Individual.
