Harvest Talent Recruitment is excited to find a Business Development Manager (Technical) for our client, a respected metals supplier serving the fabrication and construction industries. With over 30 years of experience in supplying coated steel, this Geelong-based company is supported by a larger parent organisation with facilities across regional Victoria.
We're looking for a motivated individual to manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities within the steel and metal fabrication, trades, engineering, and construction sectors. You'll be supported by a dedicated internal sales and quality team, allowing you to focus on building strong client relationships and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while also nurturing existing accounts.
2. Foster and maintain relationships with current clients to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to manage product enquiries and ensure successful project delivery.
4. Travel across Victoria to meet with clients, strengthening long-term partnerships.
5. Utilise your knowledge of metal products or related services in the fabrication and construction sectors.
What You'll Bring:
1. A proven track record in sales growth.
2. Experience in metal fabrication or supplying products to or through architects, engineers, builders, and trades.
3. A proactive approach to working independently and traveling extensively within Victoria.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
