Purpose of the Business Development Manager's RoleThe primary objective is to generate new sales leads, negotiate client pricing, and forecast sales revenue. This aims to maximise sales profitability, achieve growth targets, and promote Inlogik's presence and products.
About the Position- Developing and maintaining relationships with partner organisations to maximise referral and sale opportunities.
- Managing a pipeline of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
- Collating information for proposal documents and presenting detailed proposals.
- Negotiating price, costs, delivery, and product implementation requirements with potential clients.
- Providing regular updates on sales progress and feedback on areas for improvement.
- Educating employees on the sales process and providing training presentations.
- Demonstrating technical selling skills and product knowledge for effective presentation to prospective clients.
- Understanding clients' businesses and requirements and managing the relationship through the sales cycle.
- Developing growth strategies and plans and presenting them to the Sales Team.
- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Experienced Business Development Manager within the Software industry.
- Prior experience with Expense Management Software is desired.
- Well-versed in sales, business development, or related positions.
- Strong understanding of corporate business, value proposition, market position, and core competencies.
- Knowledge of financial industry dynamics, market structure, and trends.
- Experience leading the release and management of complex enterprise software products and solutions for Blue-Chip Clients.
- Prior experience working with revenue targets.
