The work area
This role sits within the Communications team which is part of the Office of the Under Treasurer business unit. As strategic advisors, the Communications team ensures staff and stakeholders are informed and engaged with DTF, which is at the centre of government decision-making. They ensure clear and consistent branding; develop and implement strategic communications plans and advice; produce publication-ready versions of key reports and coordinate DTF’s internal and external communications channels.
The opportunity
We are looking for creative individuals wanting to make a difference for Western Australia The Communications Officer works closely with senior team members, providing crucial support in creating a variety of communication content including corporate communication policies and procedures, public campaigns, website content and is primarily responsible for:
- Developing, editing and publishing a range of materials across multiple internal and external communications channels.
- Ensuring the consistency, quality and integrity of the DTF brand across all materials.
- Supporting a range of communications activities including event coordination, strategic communications planning, graphic design photography, media monitoring and digital asset coordination.
