Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, and now operates with 206 licensed beds, bays and treatment areas.

SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

Currently we are seeking a Social Worker to join our team. The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for providing a high quality, social work service to all inpatient and outpatients of the hospital as required, including assessment, treatment, evaluation and planning and managing a designated caseload.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, he/she provides Social Work services to patients, facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care, and practices as a Social Worker as per the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards 2013 and Code of Ethics 2010 and/or the Society of Professional Social Workers Code of Ethics and SMHS Policies and Guidelines.
