Overview
We are seeking safety and quality conscious Construction Electricians to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO and DIDO opportunities available. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
In this role, you will:
- Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, catenary, throughout underground environment.
- Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.
- Installation and terminations of High voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables
- Ensure correct earthing, bonding of electrical systems across all installations.
- Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation.
About You
- Experience as a fully qualified electrician
- Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner
- Excellent attitude to safety
- Underground and or mining experience will be highly regarded
Qualifications
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- Current Electrical License
- High-risk work License (with WP class)
- Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
- Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
- Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
- White / Blue Construction Card
