About the role

We’re on the hunt for a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team, based at our Thomastown depot.

In this role, you’ll do more than just electrical work, you’ll be part of a crew delivering safe, high-quality work across a range of construction projects. This role offers hands-on variety, travel, and meaningful work that helps power communities.

Note: this role requires flexibility to travel and occasionally stay away from home.

Key Responsibilities

- Construction, Inspection, and Testing of electrical substations and associated equipment, either connected to the Electricity Distribution/Transmission Network or intended to be connect to the Electricity Network
- Operating plant and equipment with confidence, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
- Delivering high-quality work that meets industry standards while strictly adhering to safety guidelines and regulations, including the Safety Act, TransGrid Guidelines, Network Installation Regulations, and OH&S

About You

We are excited to welcome an experienced electrician with experience within the construction environment, committed to quality, safety, and teamwork.

- Cert III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- ESI Worker Card
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogger)
- First Aid Training
- White/Blue/Red Card (OHS Construction Induction)
