Job Description - Electrician (265681)# | | || --- | --- || Electrician-265681 UGL is the lead electrical contractor for preventative and corrective maintenance as well as project work for power, communications, and security systems on University of Queensland sites throughout QLD. You get to work at state-of-the-art facilities encompassing commercial buildings and offices, research laboratories, industrial workshops, as well as sports fields and street lighting projects. Due to increase in work volumes, we are seeking an Electrician to join our team on a casual basisto March 2026, with the potential to extend further. Working primarily on large scale emergency light upgrades and general corrective maintenance at UQ’s Gatton campus. **About You** * Experience working in Commercial Construction & Maintenance * Current Electrical Licence * Hold a current LVR / CPR Certificate * Fault finding and experience. * Ability to work within a team and unsupervised. * Experience with Nexus LX, Nexus RF & Clevertronics, Zoneworks * Experience with Excel & Workflow Management Systems *Please note a rigorous pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be conducted for short-listed candidates.* **What's On Offer** * $59.60 p/h ($47.68 p/h + 25% Casual Loading) * Based at UQ's Gatton campus * Mon – Fri, 40hrs week, 6am to 2:30pm with some flexibility UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services.
