THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to join our team in working across the Brisbane North region on a full-time, on-going basis. As a Construction Supervisor, your primary focus is to manage a portfolio of home builds from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage. Reporting to the Regional Building Manager, some key accountabilities of this role include:
- Coordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade base
- Build strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades and key stakeholders
- Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Ensure quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelines
- Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations
- Day to day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork and other admin tasks
- Weekly KPI reporting
WHO YOU ARE
Ideally, we're looking for someone who has:
- Experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience and/or a strong trade background (but more importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a cohesive team)
- A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHSE regulations and Quality Assurance (QA) systems (mandatory)
- Have completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card (mandatory) and holds a QBCC Supervisors Licence
- Hold a valid driver's licence (mandatory)
- Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade network
- Able to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group, including what it means to deliver excellent customer service
- And just as importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a supportive team.
