Job Description

- Manage financial reporting and budgeting for productions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes specific to productions.
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts to ensure financial transparency.
- Collaborate with production teams to track expenses and allocate budgets effectively.
- Reconcile production accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
- Support the preparation of financial audits and reviews.
- Provide accurate and timely financial insights to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Accountant should have:

- A strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Experience in the media and agency industry or similar environments.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for financial reporting.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with production teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a temporary role based in Surry Hills.
