Business Development Representative – Managed Services (MSP)

Location: North West Sydney | Hybrid | HIGHLY attractive commission structure

Drive growth and build client relationships for a fast-growing Managed Services Provider. Help businesses solve IT challenges while generating predictable monthly recurring revenue (MRR).

Your Role

- Work alongside a dedicated team of 5 cold callers, who generate an average of 5 qualified meetings per week, giving you the opportunity to meet new customers.

- Collaborate closely with marketing and leverage multiple channels – face-to-face meetings, networking, referrals, events, and digital campaigns – to prospect and build a strong sales pipeline.

- Conduct discovery sessions with key stakeholders (CEO, CFO, IT Managers) to uncover business and technical needs

- Deliver tailored proposals linking MSP solutions to tangible business outcomes

- Manage deals end-to-end, from initial contact to contract signing, using a structured business development approach

- Build long‑term client relationships to enable cross‑sell and upsell opportunities

- Stay ahead of market trends and competitors to differentiate offerings

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in MSP business development or new client acquisition

- Skilled at consultative selling, asking diagnostic questions, and uncovering business pain points

- Ability to translate technical services into business outcomes (ROI, risk reduction, productivity)

- Strong negotiation, objection handling, and deal-closing skills

- Self‑motivated, strategic, and capable of working in a fast-paced SME environment
