This is a full-time position ideal for a teacher who loves inspiring scientific curiosity and supporting students to excel in both practical and theoretical aspects of science.
About the Role
- Teach Senior Chemistry and Biology, and contribute to Junior Science (Years 7–12) as required.
- Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that encourage critical thinking and experimentation.
- Foster a safe and Christ-centred laboratory learning environment.
- Participate in curriculum development and cross-faculty collaboration.
- Support students preparing for QCAA external assessments and tertiary pathways.
Requirements
- A degree qualification in Education with specialisation in Science (Chemistry and/or Biology).
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate Christian values within the curriculum.
- Strong laboratory safety knowledge and organisational skills.

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (dependent on experience, excluding superannuation).
