We are seeking a passionate and inspiring English Teacher (Years 7–12) to join our dedicated secondary teaching team in 2026.
As part of a faith-filled learning community, you will nurture curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through high-quality English instruction that reflects a Christ-centred worldview.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across English and Literature aligned with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
- Inspire students to communicate effectively and appreciate the power of language and storytelling.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment grounded in Christian values.
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum design and assessment practices.
- Contribute actively to the spiritual and community life of the College.
Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Education.
- Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- A commitment to the Seventh-day Adventist Christian ethos and integration of faith and learning.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with a heart for student growth.

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (dependent on experience, excluding superannuation).
Applicants must have a legal right to work in Australia and hold a valid Working With Children Check.
