Carlisle Adventist College is seeking a hands‑on, innovative Technologies and Manual Arts Teacher (Years 7–12) to join our team in 2026.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys practical, design‑based learning and can inspire students to develop creativity, craftsmanship, and technical skills in a safe, well‑equipped environment.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging programs in Design, Industrial Technology, and Engineering Principles.
- Teach a range of materials technologies, including wood, metal, or digital fabrication.
- Promote safe workshop practices and maintain organised, compliant learning spaces.
- Integrate faith, design thinking, and problem‑solving into real‑world learning contexts.
- Collaborate with colleagues across STEM and Design faculties to extend student learning.
Requirements
- A relevant teaching qualification with specialisation in Technologies, Industrial Arts, or Design & Technology.
- Eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Demonstrated workshop safety knowledge and effective classroom management.
- A commitment to Christian values and the mission of Carlisle Adventist College.

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (depending on experience, excluding superannuation).
