Continuous Improvement Specialist – Full Time

- Salary: $113,061 - $119,529 per annum
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
- Full Time Permanent Position

The City of Joondalup’s Community Safety business unit is seeking a motivated and analytical professional to lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, operational performance, and technology integration.

This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change, improve systems and processes, and contribute to a safer, more responsive services to the community. You will play a key role in supporting the City’s commitment to innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Lead improvement projects using structured methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control (DMAIC), and Agile project management.
- Analyse complex data to identify opportunities for optimisation and inform strategic decisions.
- Review and redesign workflows using process mapping and performance modelling tools.
- Provide advanced support for business systems and administer software solutions to ensure functionality, reliability, and alignment with operational needs.
- Support system upgrades and replacements, contributing to digital transformation and data integrity.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through structured planning cycles and staff engagement.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with expertise in process improvement, systems support, data analysis, and collaborative project delivery.
