About this Opportunity

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment, ensuring that all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards, while minimising downtime and maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.

Key accountabilities include:

- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on electrical plant and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs of repairs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment overall performance, including providing feedback and implementing improvements to procedures.
- Work closely with production staff to minimise disruptions and downtime.

About You

To succeed in this role, the following knowledge and skills are required:

- Trade Certificate in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Have and maintain a South Australian A Class Electrical Licence
- Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to perform shift work (role predominantly Afternoon Shift)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Previous Dairy or Beverage experience highly regarded
- Cert IV Instrumentation highly regarded
