About Family Centered Support Services

We are a Not-for-Profit organisation with a team of approximately 270 experienced practitioners, and we are continuing to grow. We provide a range of services, including residential out-of-home care, respite care, and in-home support to children and young people aged between 5 and 17. We operate a licensed service and have developed our own therapeutic framework to help create and support change in young people who have suffered serious trauma.

Our homes, where these young people live, are located on rural properties that incorporate animals and engagement with nature in our daily programs. We value connection and engagement over the use of technology within all our homes and are committed to helping our young people and their families heal and move forward.

About the Role

As a Team Member, you'll play a vital role in supporting Children and Young People living in Residential Out-of-Home Care at our therapeutic, rural properties, where we focus on a technology-reduced model of care. Your main responsibilities will include engaging with and supporting Children and Young People who exhibit challenging behaviors, helping them achieve their social, educational, cultural, and emotional goals. You'll also oversee their daily care.

Our mission is to equip Children and Young People with new coping strategies and pro-social behaviors to help them transition to a forever home.

- Liaising with and reporting to stakeholders to share information, contribute to planning, and ensure desired outcomes are achieved
- Creating activity plans and facilitating community engagement for the Young Person
- Safely supporting behaviours using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques

Benefits

- Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per annum + superannuation (based on full-time potential)
- Comprehensive induction and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training
- 24/7 dedicated on-call support
- Access to Not-for-Profit salary packaging to lower your taxable income

- Above-award remuneration, including penalties and allowances
- Work vehicle and meals provided during shifts
- Opportunities for career advancement
- Ongoing training, development, and support
- Access to Employee Assistance Program counselling services
