We are looking for aClinical Leadwithrelevant experience to join a large dynamic team of educators and support staffat Alta-1 College.

If successful, you will be responsible for overseeingtherapeutic service delivery in the region and supporting the implementation ofour Stronger Systems Model. Working closely with the Regional Principal, keycomponents of the role include team leadership and coordination, studentsupport, promoting staff wellbeing, and responding to student risk concerns.

Youare highly relational.

Youunderstand that healthy relationships are key topromoting effective outcomes and can quickly build rapport with staff andstudents from diverse backgrounds. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team,you provide tailored strategies to address complex student needs and enhanceteam effectiveness and functioning.

Youfacilitate effective leadership and staffsupport.

Your role is to lead, coordinate and support the therapeuticteam in your region. You enjoy mentoring and facilitating growth in others and caneffectively manage the competing demands of your own workload and supporting ateam. You can provide timely constructive feedback and have challengingconversation with staff when required.

Youtake a trauma informed approach to studentcare.

You employ a trauma informed approachto student careand advocate for safety, choice, collaboration and respect for diversity. Yousupport the team to understand complex behaviours and respond to student needswith patience and sensitivity. Your clinical insight and skills are used topromote compassionate support and a healthy culture.

You are empathetic and maintain a calm andprofessional environment in crisis.

You will be called upon to respond to risk concerns andmanage critical incidents to positive outcomes. Your priority is staff andstudent wellbeing and your ability to remain calm under pressure will help younavigate complex and demanding situations. You are a hands-on team leader andproactive in supporting students and staff.
