About the role

AGA has partnered with an industry leader in Commercial Carpentry, Facade Cladding and Building Remediation and we are on the hunt for 2nd and 3rd year apprentices to join their team.

In this role, you will work Fulltime hours under the direction of seasoned professionals and be given the tools to excel in a career in carpentry. You will be exposed to commercial carpentry, façade cladding and strata and commercial remediation working in a small crew in and around Melbourne.

What you will be doing

- Installing different kinds of cladding (e.g. Aluminum, Timber, Steel, Concrete)

- Installing skirting, door hardware and sanitary hardware

- Hanging doors and jambs

- Completing internal fit outs

- Remediation Services (e.g. removal, defects, testing, treatments, retrofits)

- Completing other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

- Must be either in your 2nd or 3rd year of your Carpentry Apprenticeship

- Strong communication skills

- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn

- The ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

- Attention to detail and pride in your work

- Reliable transport and a current driver’s license (required)

- White Card (required)

- Working at Heights (required)
