The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Year Apprentice - Carpenter to join the talented team at Procarp Constructions Pty Ltd in Derrimut, VIC. As a 3rd Year Apprentice - Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our construction projects, working alongside experienced tradespeople to hone your carpentry skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting qualified carpenters in the construction and installation of various building components
  • Learning and applying carpentry techniques such as framing, finishing, and trim work
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a Carpentry Apprenticeship program and in your 3rd year of training
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for the carpentry trade
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials, tools, and safety practices
  • Punctuality
