About the Role

Hastings Deering is seeking a Payroll Administrator / Officer to join our award-winning team in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. This role is a full-time maternity leave cover for up to 12 months, working Monday to Friday.

As a Payroll Administrator / Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring tasks are completed with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll runs in a timely manner
- Applying knowledge of taxation and superannuation regulations
- Processing new starters, transfers, and terminations promptly
- Maintaining accurate payroll data for employees
- Leading by example and maintaining a positive attitude in the workplace

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

- Entry-level payroll experience
- Completion of Year 12
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team
