Permanent part‑time (0.6FTE) commencing Term 1, 2026.

The Role
We are seeking a teacher who pursues excellence in teaching languages, sets high expectations, and believes all children can learn and succeed. The successful applicant will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, quality educational programs in Japanese LOTE that cater to differentiated student learning needs as per the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Use evidence‑based teaching practices, show intentional teaching, and apply differentiated instruction strategies.
- Design and assess effective lesson plans and resources that support student learning.
- Plan for school improvement using all data sources and ensure curriculum and pedagogical development is current.
- Collaborate collegially, support whole‑school processes, and engage in ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications & Eligibility
To work with us you must:
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Have completed a WA Working with Children Check before commencing.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before starting.
