Overview
Dalmain Primary School provides a welcoming, happy, inclusive environment where all students work towards achieving their potential. Role
As the Languages Teacher you will teach Japanese across a range of year levels from Pre‑primary to Year 6, delivering a curriculum that is engaging, culturally rich, and developmentally appropriate. You should be committed to developing students’ language proficiency while fostering curiosity and respect for Japanese culture. You will also engage with and apply professional learning aligned with our whole‑school approaches to teaching and learning. A strong understanding of evidence‑based teaching, differentiation, positive behaviour strategies and restorative practices are ideal but not essential.
Eligibility
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before starting.
