Our Project Managers are given autonomy to lead shovel-ready Defence projects from preliminaries through to completion and HOTO, with the support of experienced delivery teams. We’re looking for someone who not only delivers today but has the ambition to grow into senior delivery management tomorrow.

The Role

You’ll be accountable for safety, quality, program, and budget outcomes, leading teams of Site Managers, Site Supervisors, and Contract Administrators, and engaging directly with clients and Defence stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Mobilise and lead delivery teams including Site Managers, Site Supervisors, and Contract Administrators.
- Drive preliminaries setup, procurement sequencing, and program alignment before works commence.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers throughout delivery, ensuring contract compliance and performance.
- Monitor safety, quality, budget, and schedule, reporting progress to senior management and clients.
- Lead risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee completion and HOTO, meeting all Defence and legislative requirements.

What You’ll Bring

- 3+ years’ project management experience within construction; Defence or government experience highly regarded.
- Strong WHS, compliance, and quality systems knowledge.
- Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and programs under pressure.
- White Card and driver’s licence (manual 4x4 desirable).
- Ability to obtain Police Clearance and Ochre Card.
