Urgent requirement of SAP Emarsys Consultant - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Emarsys Consultant to join our project team on a contract basis in Sydney. The consultant will play a key role in migrating from SAP Marketing Cloud (SAP Marketing) to SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement. This includes requirement gathering, solution design, data migration, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, marketing teams, and technical integration specialists to ensure a smooth and successful transition with minimal disruption to ongoing marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support the migration from SAP Marketing Cloud to SAP Emarsys, including data, campaign workflows, and customer journeys.

- Analyze and document current SAP Marketing Cloud configurations, segments, campaigns, and personalization logic.

- Design and configure SAP Emarsys solutions to replicate and enhance existing marketing capabilities.

- Support data mapping, cleansing, and migration activities (contacts, preferences, consents, campaign history).

Configure and optimize key Emarsys modules:

- Automation Center (journey orchestration)

- Predictive AI Recommendations

- Channel integrations (Email, SMS, Web, Mobile Push)

- Work with integration teams to ensure smooth connectivity with SAP Commerce, SAP S/4HANA, Customer Data Cloud, and other external systems.

- Conduct functional testing, UAT support, and troubleshoot issues during cutover and hypercare phases.

- Provide knowledge transfer, training sessions, and best-practice recommendations to the client marketing team.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Hands-on experience in SAP Emarsys implementation and migration projects.

- Proven experience with SAP Marketing Cloud (SAP Marketing) solution including segmentation, campaign automation, and data models.

- Strong understanding of customer data management, consent management, and GDPR/Privacy compliance.

- Knowledge of data migration tools and processes for moving marketing data between SAP solutions.

- Experience with integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, CPI/iPaaS) connecting Emarsys with ERP, Commerce, or CRM.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes within a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP Emarsys Certification (advantageous).

- Previous experience in end-to-end migration from SAP Marketing Cloud to Emarsys.

- Experience with SAP Customer Data Platform (CDP) or Customer Data Cloud (CDC).

- Familiarity with marketing analytics and performance reporting.

Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/ PR Holders Only

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid working – 2-3 days onsite)

Duration: 6–12 months with likely extensions for post-migration optimization
