Job Description:
We are seeking ahands-on Salesforce Pre-Sales Consultantwith strong technical expertise and an innovative mindset to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional pre-sales: you will be responsible forindependently designing, building, and showcasing technical Salesforce solutions, while also creatinginnovative product conceptsby extending Salesforce with external technologies such asAI, data platforms, and third-party applications.
You will own theend-to-end technical discovery, demo environment build-out, and solution prototyping, ensuring our pre-sales function delivers not just proposals, butvisionary, technically feasible product showcases.
Responsibilities:
Client Discovery & Technical Solutioning
- Leadindependent discovery workshopsto capture client requirements, technical constraints, and integration needs.
- Translate requirements intoscalable Salesforce architectures(Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Revenue, and Industry Clouds).
- Definedata models, automation strategies (Flows, Apex, LWC), and security frameworksthat meet enterprise standards.
- Recommendintegration approaches(API-led, real-time, MuleSoft, ETL, external APIs, AppExchange).
Demo Orgs, POCs & Innovation
- Independently build, configure, and maintain Salesforce demo orgswith tailored client scenarios.
- DevelopProof-of-Concepts (POCs)showcasing not just Salesforce features, butcombined solutionswith external technologies (AI/ML, NLP, Chatbots, Analytics, Document Processing, IoT).
- Experiment withEinstein, Data Cloud, Generative AI, and external AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI)to buildinnovative demo products.
- Maintain alibrary of reusable demo assets and accelerators(industry-specific templates, data models, integration connectors).
- Drive internalinnovation sprints, prototyping new product ideas that can evolve into packaged offerings or accelerators.
Pre-Sales & Proposal Development
- Owntechnical response sectionsfor RFPs/RFIs, compliance matrices, integration strategies, and architecture proposals.
- Producearchitecture diagrams, SOWs, technical annexes, and effort estimations.
- Deliversolution presentations and demosthat combine Salesforce with external innovation layers to highlight differentiation and ROI.
Technical Enablement & Evangelism
- Stay up-to-date withSalesforce releases, ecosystem accelerators, and emerging tech (AI, APIs, DevOps, Data platforms).
- Contribute to buildinginternal innovation playbooks(e.g., AI-enabled customer service flows, predictive lead scoring models, cross-cloud accelerators).
- Act as atechnical evangelist, demonstrating how Salesforce + external technologies createunique, future-ready solutions.
Must-Have:
- 3+ years in Salesforce consulting, technical pre-sales, or solution prototyping.
- Proven ability toindependently build Salesforce demo orgs, POCs, and technical showcases.
- Strong understanding ofSalesforce architecture, APIs, data models, and security models.
Nice-to-Have:
- Hands-on with:
- Flows, Apex, LWC.
- Integration approaches(REST, SOAP, MuleSoft, middleware, ETL).
- External APIs and AI/ML tools.
- Demonstrated experience preparingtechnical proposals, SOWs, and architecture documentation.
- Salesforce Certifications:App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant, or Technical Architect track.
- Experience withAI/ML platforms (OpenAI, Azure AI, Google Vertex, Einstein AI, etc.).
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset), DevOps automation, and reusable accelerators.
- Experience prototypingproductized solutions(e.g., packaged demos, reusable apps, or AppExchange-ready products).
