ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to our Operations General Manager, as EPEC/'s Field Service Manager you will lead and drive the performance of our High Voltage operations team. In this pivotal role, you/'ll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge renewable and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects—overseeing and supporting everything from estimation and procurement to construction and commissioning. With safety, efficiency, and performance as your guiding principles, you/'ll lead a skilled team through complex substation projects as well as support EPEC/'s business development ventures. If you/'re passionate about high voltage systems and want to make a real impact in the renewable energy space, this is your moment. Most of your time will be in the Brisbane office, with site visits required on an ad-hoc basis as you see needed — so no long stints away from home. Expect roughly a 70/30 office-to-site split.

ABOUT YOU

- Engineering degree / relevant trade certification with a career background in construction and commissioning environments - ideally from the power / energy / resources industries.

- Extensive experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary high voltage grid connection projects.

- EFM License (Essential)

- Strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ), with proven leadership skills.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.

- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills - confident in negotiating, influencing and driving decisive action.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.

- Driven to implement operational improvements and increase efficiency.

- Familiar with engineering codes, regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
