Overview

We are seeking a skilled and driven Site Engineer to play a key role in successfully delivering major infrastructure projects across Queensland. This position will focus on applying strong engineering principles to support project execution while promoting a collaborative, high-performance environment.

The successful candidate will not only be part of an outstanding team but will also gain continuous project exposure, fostering the development of technical expertise and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design and QLD Water standards and specifications.
- Procurement and coordination of materials, plant and equipment, including raising purchase requisitions and ensuring materials delivered to site are correct, in good condition and in a timely manner so as to not cause delays to the construction program.
- Performing site inspections and observations with respect to health, safety, and environmental KPIs.
- Assisting project engineers with the development of site documentation, including ITPs, SWMSs, JSEA,s and Construction Execution Procedures.
- Undertaking quality control inspections and ITP Witness and Hold Point inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

- Tertiary qualification in civil or mechanical engineering
- 1- 2 yrs experience in a similar role
- Sound working knowledge of HSEQ requirements and implementation of the same
- Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others
- Willingness/ability to work in remote locations as may be required
